Black Tempal Benchtop
Caesarstone’s Black Tempal™ benchtop has soft mineral deposits that give rise to a delicate, light veil of warm whites across the slab, in contrast to the sturdy black charcoal base. Its textured, complex industrial composition reflects a captivating interpretation of industrial travertine, as its finish enhances the colour’s depth while capturing warm granular highlights consumers can caress.
Caesarstone® is predominantly made from quartz. The exceptional beauty, strength and durability of quartz ensures a product that is far superior to natural stone and other manufactured surfaces. Created from approximately 90% natural quartz aggregates, organic pigments and enhanced polymer resins, Caesarstone® provides a surface with exceptional properties of heat, stain, scratch and chip resistance.
Caesarstone® is made from natural quartz and therefore some variation in colour and aggregate can be expected on slabs. All our Caesarstone® benchtops are polished on the front and both sides of the benchtop and edged with an aris finish for both style and safety.
From The Design Team
Trends in residential interiors have set a darker tone layered with emotion. Black and dark materials have recently been introduced to the most stylish urban bathrooms in the form of stones like slate and travertine – tactile materials that possess an almost industrial presence.
In a bathroom environment, you will find it pair with softer tones to tame the palet of the benchtop. You will find it will take over the bathroom if not respected but it is so stunning this is often the best outcome.

Maximizing the colour and texture of Caesarstone’s Black Tempal™ benchtop can be achieved by using matte finished surfaces to continue the industrial feel. The fewer shiny objects the better. Using this colour tone to sit atop the Ares matte white vanity will work wonders. You can even maximize the visual of the benchtop by using the Crown solid surface basin.
