The freestanding bath is the number one feature of the bathroom. It is here where most consideration should be placed. Which shape? In which location? This is the product which could make your bathroom complete. But it not only provides a visual spectacle, it is used to wash the kids or to soak in at the end of a hard days work. Maybe you just like to get away from life and sink into a book with a sneaky wine. Whatever the reason, comfort and style are equally as important when it comes to a freestanding bath.
It is easy to choose a bath based solely on its design or practicality. This bath ticks both those boxes. But it is also made from the highest quality acrylic, Lucite. Lucite is a brand name, trademarked by Dupont, in 1937. It is superior to other acrylics due to its high density and ability to withstand frequent wear and tear. It is also UV resistant meaning it won't turn yellow over time like cheaper acrylics and is 100% recyclable. As if that wasn't enough, it is also non-porous which prevents any dirt from accumulating on the surface making it easy to clean and stain resistant.
To add to the superior quality of Lucite, it is supported underneath by six adjustable feet on a steel frame. This allows you to adjust the bath to be perfectly level no matter how uneven your floor surface is. Each side of the acrylic is supported at the base by two strips of acrylic so it is near impossible for the bath to bow or move out of shape when filling the bath with 150 litres of water.
The Grace freestanding bath is suited to those who love to sink deep into relaxation after a long day of work. The smooth contours make this bath amazingly comfortable. You'll find yourself taking your favourite book and a well earned glass of wine with you every time you make the bubbles flow.
You'll need a Pop Down® waste plug to abide by most state plumbing requirements.
Bath only
The Jasmine freestanding bathtub will be the real hero of your bathroom. It is designed to sit off your wall by 80mm or so giving the visual effect that it is floating. This allows the room to look larger and more spacious, especially in a smaller bathroom. The Jasmine bath is completely symmetrical so you'll be able to place it anywhere in your bathroom and have it look like it belongs in that position and while it has an overall square shape, it has very soft corners giving a very natural shape to the design.

This bath is stunning! But it won't work in all bathrooms. It has vertical sides which make it look larger in your space. So, unlike the Grace freestanding bath, which you can install close to the walls, the Aurelia bath needs to be set at least 200mm from the side walls of your bathroom. Any closer and it will look cramped and bulky. Give it some breathing room and it will set your bathroom alight! One bit which makes it look stylish and elegant is that it is narrow. It's only 740mm wide! But it also has only a 20mm rim. This is really slim and sets up your bathroom to provide a really streamline look.
